Note: Base32 Dates
• In the year 2ooo, I began using a base32 numbering system for indicating dates in filenames. This allows using only 3 characters instead of 6 for specifying year, month, & day. This system uses the Hexidecimal codes for 0-15 and the letters G-Z for 16 through 31. Three-character dates are indicated by a preceding tilde ~ . Not used are the characters: I L O U. (I,L,O could be confused with 1 or 0, and the letter U might could be confused with V.)

Examples:
• fna~31a
• fnm~38n
• ft4c~34f
• n~321
• ws~43c
• r~g45
